OHSU Inc. (PILHIL)
The numbers finally turned in Oregon Health & Science University's direction Sunday when nurses ended their seven-week strike. The labor scuffle cost PILHIL $3.5 million for replacement nurses and invaluable goodwill with the public.

Island Boosters Amalgamated (SOPHIE)
Investors flocked to Sauvie Island Boosters last week when the group scored a huge victory before the Multnomah County Commissioners. Citing traffic and other concerns, the tourist-weary residents persuaded the county to deny Metro permission to expand Howell Territorial Park into a major regional park with new parking, picnic shelters and restrooms.

Council Reformers & Co. (GDGOVT)
Investors dumped their stock in the so-called Good Government Initiative last week when they learned that a screw-up in the wording could render Robert Ball's measure ineffective, even if it is passed by voters. SERT Co. (SKIRTZ)
Stock in Portland's Special Emergency Reaction Team finally bottomed out after a yearlong investigation into the elite police unit wrapped up last week. Twenty members of the city's SWAT team--including two captains and two lieutenants--face proposed discipline for engaging in vulgar skits and other "team-building" behavior.

Bunn Inc. [STIKY]
Shares in the scandal-plagued state superintendent of public instruction, Stan Bunn, dove to new lows last week after His Stickiness mailed missives to 90 state legislators defending himself against findings by the Government Standards and Practices Commission that Bunn had committed 1,400 ethics violations. The expensive mailings, billed to taxpayers, prompted State Sen. Tony "The Canary" Corcoran to lodge yet another ethics complaint against the Bunnster.
