[February 20th, 2008]
Isn’t it about time for Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera ? These ill-fated ice skaters, whose intertwined legacies will forever live in infamy, are finally getting a musical makeover. The stage show, produced and directed by Triangle Productions artistic guru Don Horn, not only gets lyrical about the (knee-) smashing skating lives of these gals but their beyond-the-rink antics as well. That got us to thinking (a dangerous thing) about what other local luminaries could jump the shark to the musical mainstage.
