[May 12th, 2004] PIGS WALLOW WITH PIGS

Regarding your April 14 Rogues of the Week (Arissa and "crazed leftists"), I am compelled to respond, knowing full well the irrational volatility of the OCD personality.

I will agree that "words can hurt us," as you state. However, it is apparent from your comments that the "dumbing down" effects of media pandering, fabrications, jingoism and countless stupefying, subliminal propaganda/marketing methods have done more damage in the media itself than "out here."

I suspect WW et al. to be generally unconscious of itself. Dependent entirely upon the advertising dollars of Realtors, car dealers, sex junkies and other opportunistic speculators, your social commentaries are inane, vapid and without merit. Not surprisingly, consistent with The Oregonian.

It appears your attack on those "crazy leftists" was simply that. The issue itself is only arguable in a context of relative denial. Whether the police are "killers" or "murderers" doesn't matter a whit when you're dead, although it figures mightily into those arguments designed to conceal, deny, sensationalize or obscure the "facts." All these are utilized in your article. But I must ask, when an unarmed man is shot dead by police, within 25 seconds of being stopped, what are you defending but yourself?

The challenging consideration that you are a participant, supporter and promoter in state-institutionalized racism, aggression and murder (killing?) here and abroad to preserve "yours" is the unmentionable reality motivating your delusional reporting.

Your whining apologetics, idiotic appeals to "democratic agency" and attitude of pretentious patronization ("Stay calm, folks, it isn't murder!") place WW along with The Oregonian, the mayor, the police union and endless business/political miscreants in opposition to the community. What's happening here in "The Puddle" only mirrors global events, and those other arguments mirror these, and so it goes. Crime and imprisonment statistics document a racist and corrupt judicial system. They also document an increase in violence with a corresponding increase in police presence. Save Black People--Disarm Cops! Ten weeks of training, a badge, a gun and a uniform aren't sufficient to warrant community respect. That's why we have Hollywood and WW. To Sell Lies.

As it is, only the technology for killin' niggers has changed. Your arguments were as good 100 years ago as they are today.

P.S. You oughtta be ashamed and disgusted by yourselves. You are PIGS!

victims of abuseI'm somewhat aghast at the one point in your many stories about our former Governer's shameful acts, is how many reporters contacted this woman over a period of several months. ...
