[October 3rd, 2007] Zoobomber Cafe? Well, no. But there is a fried-egg-and-Monterey Jack “Zoombomb” special on the to-go menu at the extremely two-wheeler-friendly Little Red Bike Cafe (4823 N Lombard St., 289-0120), which opened a few weeks ago in the former old NoPo Coffeehouse. Yes, they’ve got Voodoo Doughnuts, Fleur de Lis baked goods, Courier Coffee and even old-fashioned buttermilk milkshakes (served in Mason jars). But better yet, they’re all available at the bike-thru window —with cash incentives for cyclists.

Buzz from well-informed sources says the media magnate wants to buy Edible for several million dollars. Edible higher-ups in New Mexico say they’ve heard that rumor too, but call the arrangement with Ms. Stewart “not likely.” Edible Portland publisher Deborah Kane says Edible PDX is “happily independent.”
