ATWATER'S

Usually you'd come here to splurge, but the "No Rush Hour"
4-6:30 pm Monday-Friday is a pretty good little deal. Featuring
$2 pints of beer, the bar menu also offers hamburgers and
quesadillas for $1.95. (This same hamburger is normally
$7!)
EMBASSY SUITES

Two levels below the hotel lobby in the Arcadia Lounge,
happy hour runs from 5 to 7 pm. It's open to the public,
but there's a tacit understanding between you and the bartender
that the whole gratis thing is really for the hotel guests,
so try to blend in. Taking a dip in the nearby fountain,
good idea as it seems after a few free ones, will result
in your being asked to present the dreaded room key.
FELLINI

4-6 pm daily. Pints of Labatt's and Henry's are one measly
dollar. At this price, you can buy your boss a beer.
JOE'S CELLAR

7-10 am, seven mornings a week. Thank God someone has figured
out that happy hour need not be relegated to the evening.
