Holiday Shopper,
In my never-ending search to make your life better-informed
(and just a tad bit easier), I asked a few friends of mine--fantabulous
thinkers one and all--to drop their No. 2 pencils and pick
up a brand new bag. A shopping bag, that is. Yes, Virginia,
for the past few months we have unleashed a whole bevy of
friendly "elves" on unsuspecting retailers in the hope of
finding really wonderful gripe-free holiday gifts.
In other words, we've done your holiday-shopping research
for you. This issue will help get you started (for the super-busy,
we offer quick holiday hits); then, on Dec. 6, you'll want
to check out our "Party" issue (full of fashion, beautiful
people and party favors). And keep your eye out for our
third gift guide on Dec. 13 (for those who like to shop
late!).
