Dandy Warhols keyboardist and environmental activist Zia MaCabe gave a rousing welcome to Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders this morning.

"I've never donated to campaign before, and I've never voted in a primary before," McCabe told a cheering crowd in the Moda Center. "But I've donated to Bernie five times."

McCabe reminded the crowd to register as Democrats before April 26—saying she realized only recently she was registered as an independent. McCabe's previous political involvement includes campaigns for GMO labeling and against water fluoridation.

She finished her speech with a rallying cry for activists, environmentalists and women to support Sanders.

"As a woman, a mother and a feminist," she said, "I support Bernie Sanders!"

Here's the video of McCabe's speech.
