Two tortoises are settling into their new home at the Oregon Zoo this week after they arrived from New York's Seneca Park Zoo.

Dozer and Shelly are African spurred tortoises, a species native to the African savannah and one of the largest groups of mainland tortoises in the world. They weigh 175 and 90 pounds respectively. The Oregon Zoo released a video of the duo on its Facebook page Wednesday that has already received over 25,000 views.

"They're doing really well in their new habitat," said Shelly Pettit (not to be confused with Shelly the tortoise), the zoo's senior keeper for reptiles and amphibians. "They're very active and surprisingly speedy. Dozer did not get his name by napping."

Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Road, oregonzoo.org. 9:30 am-6 pm. Adults (12–64), $14.95, Senior/military: $12.95, Youth (3–11), $9.95, 2 and under, free.
