Expect Snow Tomorrow. Way More Snow Than Last Week.

The National Weather Service is predicting tomorrow's snowstorm could leave up to 3 inches of snow.

It's time to figure out where to coffice—or at least find an HBO Go password to steal.

Last week's one-inch Arctic blast left flights delayed, school districts closed and snow people in front yards. Now, the National Weather Service is predicting tomorrow's snowstorm could leave up to 3 inches of snow.

The snow is predicted to start around noon on Wednesday, give or take an hour and continue into the evening and after midnight, accumulating in 1-3 inches.

Luckily, the Weather Service is predicting less ice than last week.

"The ice accumulation is what caused the ongoing several day issues," says meteorologist Matthew Cullen. "With this one we're not expecting much in the way of ice, it'll just be snow."

Still, he says even a three-inch snowfall later afternoon getting into the evening commute time could still have significant impacts around the area, so try to leave work early if possible.

"Later afternoon and evening looks like primetime for heaviest snowfall rates around Portland and that'll continue to the later part of the evening. The heaviest snow should be done around Thursday morning," Cullen says.
