Gun sales have reached an all time high in the nation and here in Oregon. Part of the sales increase has been because of suspicion that the Obama administration and left leaning congress will establish more stringent gun laws. That alone cannot explain the 40% increase in gun and ammunition sales. There are other factors in play here. There is evidence that a larger segment of citizens are purchasing weapons for self protection. Even folks who are politically progressive are purchasing or considering the purchase of their first gun. I suggest you include a gun column in your paper. This column can provide information regarding gun ownership including safety considerations gun laws, reviews of popular firearms and information regarding firearms training and locations to practice. I would be happy to write such a column for you.

Just because you have cooked for your family for thirty years does not mean you are a good cook.

Should I read the O over the WW because the O is older?

I am disappointed to see that the WW is once again printing adult/escort advertisements. Advertisements for girls sent directly to you hotel room....REALLY??? I was happy to see you realized several years ago that you were above that, and that those kind of ads was not what the WW was all about. I know time are tough financially for everyone and that may be what drove you back to doing it, but it was to me part of what set you guys apart from the Mercury or that other escort magazine out there.
