An angry crowd at the Oregon Flea Market attacked an armed robber Saturday afternoon. After the accused criminal attempted to rob a customer, the crowd took away his gun and held him down until police arrived.

A ricocheting BB from a BB gun hit a TriMet bus driver in the eye Friday afternoon. As a group of teenagers got off the bus, one took out a BB gun and shot a mirror. The driver’s injuries were not serious.

A man was shot outside a dance party with 1,000 expected attendees Friday night. Police reported he was found with a gunshot wound in a parking lot near the venue.

Capt. Phil Harris, a crabber featured on Discovery Channel’s “The Deadliest Catch,” signed autographs at the Hawthorne Fred Meyer Saturday afternoon. He also promoted the “Tastiest Catch,” a beer called the Alaskan Amber.
