An individual was stabbed July 25 near the MAX station at Southeast 181st Avenue. The victim did not have life-threatening injuries. Police said the stabbing was likely gang-related.

A dog rescued and nursed back to health by the Oregon Humane Society escaped July 23 from its new owner in Gabriel Park. Although Gizmo the dog is wearing an ID tag, the Shiba Inu is skittish and likely will avoid people, the Humane Society says.
