Moe’s Pub & Grill was robbed at gunpoint Oct. 30. Police are looking for the two men who came to the restaurant, demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed sum.

A drive-by shooting near the Lloyd Center Courtyard by Marriott hotel left Babatu White, 19, with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police say the incident is gang related, and the Gang Enforcement Team is investigating.

Rev. John Kerns of St. Juan Diego Catholic Parish says parishioners have stopped sharing wine and receiving communion wafers on their tongues during recent Sunday masses, due to fear of catching the H1N1 virus. He says they’ve also stopped holding hands during the Lord’s Prayer and shaking hands during the sign of peace.
