Clearly this student was disruptive. However, all other issues aside, is it not the job of coaches and teachers to recognize that a teenager with a bad attitude is the one most in need?

Sure Miguel, let's have no standards of conduct at all for our young people. Let's let them act out in any manner, with no consequences. Let's allow them to violate rules as they please, with no thought of those around them that are actually trying to be good citizens.

That is not what I'm saying. Don't pat her on the back for all of the transgressions. Talk with her, reason with her, suspend her from the team, bring her back and try again, etc. But don't give up on her.

Alonza was exploited and used by the administration. When she became a liability she was transfered [sic] to another school, for the 3rd time in her high school years. It's disgusting.
