GET INSPIRED: Write Around Portland will host five two-hour writing workshops at coffeehouses around the city starting Tuesday, May 11, and ending Saturday, May 15. We've covered this one before, but here's the gist: Head to the restaurant on a Tuesday night, and at the end of your meal a waiter will present you with a coin to flip. GET CLASSILY DRUNK: Ten 01's new sommelier, Jeff Groh (former somm Erica Landon left in February to run marketing for Hawks View Cellars just oustide Sherwood), is evidently trying to burn through some inventory—the restaurant has a list of 50 wines of all sorts that it's offering at 50 percent off on Sundays.
