While this Hawthorne eatery isn't dirt-cheap, there are still tasty bargains to be found here, ranging from the lunchtime Blue Plate special (a half-sandwich with salad and soup, $8) to quesadillas (black bean and cheddar $6, chicken verde $7) and caprese pizza ($10). The yuppified, sterile decorative motif is offset by the funky staff and clientele. Plus, now BridgePort hosts live music on Tuesday nights
