Cheap Eats 2010

Don’t let the line scare you; brunch at Cadillac is worth the wait. The omelettes are huge and fluffy and the potatoes charred just enough to give a tasty crunch. First-time visitors must order the hazelnut french toast ($9), an elephantine plate of bacon, eggs and two thick slices of buttery, nutty bread that are so sweet you won’t even need syrup. Skip the standard mimosa and go for the Hot Rod ($6.75), a creamy blend of rum, Kahlua and coffee. Your sweet tooth cravings will be cured.
