This minuscule sandwich shop sports a terrifying arsenal of gut-busting sandwiches. The most daunting of these is Gretchen's Flagrant Delecti ($7.75), a pillowy french roll crammed with turkey, salami, ham, provolone, cheddar, pickles, tomato, olives, red onion, lettuce, garlic-Parmesan vinaigrette and pesto mayo in a five-inch tower. Each sandwich comes with a soup or side, the choices for which range from heaping piles of housemade potato salad to steaming bowls of macaroni and cheese that could make a meal on their own. For vegetarians, Gretchen's Garden ($6.75) is not your average, pissy vegetable sandwich. And beef lovers should look closely at the Moo and Blue ($7), which pairs roast beef with blue cheese.
