With the proliferation of gourmet tofu scrambles in this town, it's refreshing to be able to get something as down-home as pigs in a blanket ($8.95) at this airy Alberta joint. Though nine bucks might seem like a high price to pay, wait till your plate arrives overflowing with four hefty buttermilk pancakes wrapped around maple sausages so delicious you'll regret not ponying up for a Helser's Scotch egg ($2) to chase it down. Pair it with a soothing Peppermint Patty ($5.50) and don't worry about hunger pangs till tomorrow. (LV)
