Skip to main contentIf Imbibe's "take it in" tagline were applied to any neighboring bar along Southeast Hawthorne, it'd probably refer to inhaling the thick cloud of cigarette smoke. But at Imbibe, the air's a little cleaner—so we assume they'd like us to soak up the bar's carefully crafted atmosphere. Its dim, romantic lighting and impressive food specials make the place a good choice for young professionals to catch a pseudo-classy (but still affordable) happy-hour date, or a chance to get out to the bar, hear some live music and still bring along the kids, without worrying about the young ones learning new four-letter words.
