This squeaky-clean little Mexican outpost is rightfully famous for its Baja-style fried halibut tacos topped with shredded cabbage and tangy neon-yellow sauce ($3.75). But don't forsake the meat options: The virria taco/burrito filling, with tender chunks of pot roast in vivid red-chile sauce ($1.75-$5.99), is easily the best thing this side of the Rio Grande. For three bucks more, make it a meal and a half as a plate order and get heaps of housemade chips, salsa, rice and refried beans. (IM)
