Cheap Eats 2005

This unassuming spot in the Thurman Building has perhaps the city's best view of the Fremont Bridge's parabolic arc. The room is both industrial and warm (e.g., exposed ceiling ducts and a leather club couch), with a rack of perusable magazines and free wi-fi. The breakfast- and lunch-only fare runs from stuff you might make yourself at home-oatmeal with raisins and nuts ($2.50), a PBJ ($1.50)-to a roast-beef sandwich with horseradish cream ($4.95) and Thai options at lunch, including an excellent pad see iew with chicken ($6.50).
