Drink 2010

One of the more overtly restaurant-y outposts of the New Old Lompoc brewery empire, the 5th Quadrant—along with next-door neighbor Pix Pâtisserie—was among the first businesses to anchor the now-booming area around North Williams Avenue and Failing Street, currently home to everything from the Queen Bee purse factory to foodie-approved Lincoln. The Quadrant's tall booths and covered patio aren't necessarily worth a trip across town to experience, but make for an excellent beer-and-burger Saturday afternoon if you live in the neighborhood. KAT MERCK.
What to drink: C-Note Imperial Pale Ale.
Happy hour: Lompoc pints $3.25, $1 off cocktails, $2 off appetizers; 4-6 pm and 10 pm-1 am Monday-Friday, all day Saturday-Sunday.
Entertainment: TV, board games.
