The Goodfoot has a good reputation for a good reason—the 4,000-square-foot bar is split into a pubbish upstairs and a clubbish basement. Upstairs is a great place to start your night, with tons of space, good beers, pool tables and knock-'em-dead garlic fries ($4.50). Below things really heat up Wednesday through Saturday with live music and DJs. Friday is soul night, one of the best dance parties in town. But beware of the meat market—it can get scary down there.
