A sorta divey neighborhood bar next to the Moreland Theater that caters to the fun-loving boomers of Sellwood and their occasionally younger neighbors. Although it looks slightly cavelike, the personalities are sunny and everyone seems to know you. The bar food is above average, but the cocktail list is reminiscent of terrible nights in college (seriously, there is more in heaven and earth than is dreamt of by their vodka supplier).
Perfect Patron: Good old aunt Matilda—the one who lied and told your parents she was taking you shopping for your birthday but secretly introduced you to the concept of the male-stripper bar. (HN)
HAPPY HOUR 3-6 PM MONDAY-FRIDAY: $3 WINE AND WELL DRINKS, $1 OFF MICROBREWS.
