Devour 2010

[OLD-SCHOOL EATS] Beaumont Market is a throwback to simpler times, when a neighborhood store could satisfy all your grocery needs. Fresh produce is displayed in a wall-length circa-1950s cooler with what appear to be the original labels (not the 1950s prices, however). The meat counter offers only Northwest-grown cuts. There is a self-serve frozen yogurt machine and a well-stocked walk-in beer cooler. Treats from local vendors share shelf space with brand-name cereals, fun housewares and essentials like lightbulbs and cleaning supplies. If you're lucky enough to live in the neighborhood, skip the supermarket and shop here.
Grocery list: Beers from Oregon breweries you've never heard of, Fentimans Curiosity Cola, PastaWorks ravioli, stuffed olives and local pickles by the Garlic Lady.
