[DANCE] In this ode to American music,
Oregon Ballet Theatre premieres three pieces, two set to classic
orchestral scores and one to the earnest, folksy strains of Seattleâs
Fleet Foxes. Choreographer Trey McIntyreâwho previously charmed Portland
with works set to Roy Orbison and the Sex Pistolsâis behind the Fleet

RECORD STORE DAY
[MUSIC] Celebrate the practice of
distributing music via commercial retail shops. Special shows all over
the city include Radiation City, WWâs 2012 Best New Band, DJing at Everyday Music at 3 pm and the Thermals signing autographs at Music Millennium at 2 pm. Basically every record store in town. Most events free.
EARTH DAY
[ECO] So maybe no one sings lullabies to
old trees on Earth Day anymore. Itâs still a good time to responsibly
dispose of old tube TVs, Pentium 486 computers and Palm Pilots. Green
