Cubicle to Cabana

Summer uniforms that work and play.

BY ELIZABETH DYE

Friday, 3:15 pm. Eighty-two degrees. Not a wisp of cloud in the sky. It's a disgustingly flawless summer day. Of course, you only know this because you checked weather.com in between client meetings. It's cruel to have to spend summer's halcyon hours working--compiling yucky ol' marketing reports, refolding capri pants, slinging iced macchiatos. But don't let that J-O-B prevent you from having F-U-N. Garb yourself in one of these ingeniously convertible outfits, cut out early, and take yourself and your sidekicks to a sunny spot just outside of cell-phone reception. There's plenty of summer to soak up before the sun goes down.
