ANSWER #1: "No, I totally stay away from it. I'm not really into it. I never win those political arguments. It's interesting and I'm sad and I want the best for our country, but it brings my mood down to talk about it."
ANSWER #2: "My mother is an educator, and she's been playing devil's advocate to some of my positions, so it can get pretty heated."
ANSWER #3:"There's been a lot of talk, but talk's cheap. I hesitate to get too much into politics with my friends; I'm pretty headstrong about my political beliefs, so at a certain point I just turn myself off. We can't just have something like this happen and freak out for a week and a half and then forget about it."
ANSWER #4: "You know, when it was Desert Storm I was in the protest marches; I think of myself as a peaceful person. But a buddy of mine brought up the whole thing about our civil liberties, and I told him that for the first time I think we're looking at something that's worth fighting for: our safety."
