Bring Out Your Dead

OMSI explores Body Worlds 3.

This Thursday, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is finally bringing us a summer blockbuster that should live up to the hype: Gunther von Hagens' Body Worlds 3: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies. This traveling collection of real dead people, posed sans skin, has had a combined take of over $200 million (for Body Worlds 1, 2 and 3) since it began touring Europe and the U.S. in 1995. Most of the breathless publicity suggests you should hand over your $21 and then decide if you aren't struck smart with awe by the pure SCIENCE!!! As an antidote, we offer a closer look at the Body Worlds clan.
