We've got a full serving of gossip this week: First, we hear Bakery Bar is seeking space for a second location near East 28th Avenue. Across the pond, Leonardo's, an Italian eatery, will open later this fall at Northwest 10th Avenue and Lovejoy Street in the former home of failed diners Graze and Nina's Kitchen. Let's hope three is the magic number. Across the street in the gleaming white Metropolitan Tower, another Pearl District eatery is in the works, said to be the brainchild of a celebrity chef from California—though that's all that's known. And for those who prefer instant gratification to mere speculation, Bailey's Taproom, a new bar specializing in small-scale West Coast brews and artisan Northwest cheese plates opened last week at 213 SW Broadway—right across the street from Saucebox.
