Openings, closings and dishy gossip

MO BETTA YETTA: Yetta Vorobik, a 26-year-old former manager at Alberta brunch spot Helser's, is planning an early July opening for her new bar, Yetti's, starting construction this week at 1914 N Killingsworth St. Vorobik says her wine and beer barwill devote equal attention to a broad selection of both libations. She says the goods will also be available to take home. Yetti's, named for Vorobik's childhood nickname, will offer small, simple eats like charcuterie and cheese plates, pasta and salads as well as desserts from nearby Di Prima Dolci, at reasonable prices. She's hoping the long rectangular space, with its nonsmoking backyard, will soon be a neighborhood hangout for everyone. "I don't care if you're 21 or 85," Vorobik says.
