Police in Dominican Republic Arrest Two in Killing of Portland Lawyer

Art Tarlow

Police in the Dominican Republic have arrested two suspects in the killing of a successful Portland construction lawyer, according to local press reports in the Caribbean nation.

Police arrested the suspects Friday night — the same day the body of 68-year-old Art Tarlow was found in a resort village, according to Dominican Today.

According to a story in Saturday's Oregonian, Tarlow spent half the year at his Southwest Portland home and half in the Dominican Republic, where he owned a seaside villa.
