Portland's effort in
Worldwide Protest BP day.
Organized entirely through
Facebook, June 12 is designated by the event's creators as primetime for a worldwide boycott against the company responsible for the worst-ever oil leak in the United States.
The online page boasts more than 40 cities across five continents participating in the protest. Portland's end of the protest runs from 10 am to noon in Holladay Park on NE 11
th Avenue and Holladay Street.
