thanks"
According to the e-mail, this 5 x 7 inch wooden slab of candy-colored whimsy by local illustrator couple APAK (a.k.a. Aaron and Ayumi Piland) disappeared from Compound Gallery on Sunday, joining the theft-worthy ranks of the
Mona Lisa and
The Scream. But don't feel too pleased with yourself, Bastard Art Thief. Despite Compound's imposing name, I imagine your fab nab was about as easy as borrowing your friend's Threadless T-shirt. Just contact the artists at apak@apakstudio.com and let them know you're willing to come quietly, and maybe they won't sic that little white gnome on you.
