CONSUMER WHORE: WORD ON THE STREET

If you dig fashion, graphic and product design, happenings, etc., you have most likely taken a gander at ultrapdx.com for updates to keep you in-the-know. Well, the two-year-old, Portland-based website/blog has most recently launched a "Street Style" segment to their roster of cohesive coverage—including the Ultra Q (interviews with local creative entrepreneurs) and Point-of-View (fashion editorials and photo shoots). Street Style is a daily look at Portland's street fashions through the lens of photographer Charlotte LaVictoire (owner of the now defunct Lower East Burnside Yes Boutique). Fashion voyeurs have long held adoration for sites that catalogue everyday, unique looks, like thesartorialist.blogspot.com (Europe/NYC) and hel-looks.com (Finland-based). And there is no doubt that Portland has a distinct, individual "look" worthy of being captured. The question is what is that look, and how to accurately depict it?

Take a wild guess which of these photographs was shot in Portland...
