Mississippi's newest retail addition, Amalee Boutique (909 N Beech St., Suite A), is hosting a grand-opening par-tay to celebrate their sweet, two-week-old digs, where you'll find collections by the likes of Scrapbook, Orion, Margarita Sapala, Kersh and Matty M.

Score mark-offs on select labels, throw back some cocktails and sweets and get an eyeful of local designer Gretchen Jones' first collection of scallop-edged babydolls, high-waisted bubble skirts and darling shift dresses.

It all goes down on Saturday, June 2, from 6-9 pm.
