Gus Van Sant's Restless Gets Trailer, Looks Pretty, Still Seems Stupid

Remember when Gus Van Sant announced he was filming what amounted to a remake of Harold and Maude in which Maude wasn't old, and we humbly suggested that was a really, tremendously bad idea, and he did it anyway because, honestly, he made Milk and he can do whatever the fuck he wants? Now there's a trailer, with a shot of the Fremont Bridge, and the addition of a Japanese fighter-pilot ghost named Hiroshi.

So. The little story about the bird is nice.
