The Bus Project Reminds Bar-goers to Vote, Use Coasters

Vote_Coaster

There's something new under your beer.

The Bus Project has distributed 10,000 coasters reminding bar-goers to vote in Oregon's election Nov. 2. The coasters handed out to 29 bars by the non-profit feature a voters guide on the back spotlighting measures such as the proposed continuation of public financing in city of Portland elections—an initiative supported by the Bus Project.

Just in case you drink at home or have a penchant for leaving water rings on a table, the Bus Project is also talking up the upcoming Trick or Vote campaign. On Oct. 31, more than 1,000 volunteers will knock on doors, in costume, and remind unsuspecting candy distributers of the upcoming election.
