However, this morning, Jerry Davies, Director of Media Relations for Farmers, responded back with this statement: "[In regard to Ms. Mowry's case], the offer that was made by Farmers is in complete compliance with Oregon Law. The law is quite clear on financial responsibility in instances such as this, where the driver was using the car with the permission of the insured owner."
