Trammit's "Real" Name

Now that Commissioner Sam Adams' Nov. 30 deadline to name the aerial tram has passed, you are waiting on the edge of your seat to find out the winner. Right? Well, you're going to have to wait a little longer.

According to Adams' office, the top 100 out of 773 unique entries (1,080 were submitted overall, but there were repeats) will be presented to a committee of local historians, business people and OHSU employees Tuesday. They will choose between five and 10 options to be listed later this week on Adams' website, www.commissionersam.com. Then we can all go to the website to vote. The grand winner of this second election will be announced in a few weeks.
