EAT: Pok Pok Serves Lunch Daily, Will Have Beer Slushies

Pok Pok now serves lunch and dinner daily, according to the latest email blast from owner Andy Ricker. More important Ike's Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings—the wildly popular deep-fried wonders that could sustain their own fast food chain—are now available to go from 11:30 am-10 pm every day. If you want them after midnight, you'll have to head across the street to Whiskey Soda Lounge, where they're served until midnight.

Also of note is a promise of beer slushies at Whiskey Soda Lounge: "WSL is bringing in a couple of 'bia wun' (jelly beer, in Thai) machines from Thailand that essentially turn bottled beer into beer slushies, which are then served with a straw," Ricker writes. "Fun stuff, and incredibly refreshing when the weather turns hot. Look for them sometime in June."
