Does This Man Need A Shirt?

Photo collage of Tom Hughes on somebody else's body

Tom Hughes' campaign for Metro president reports that our cover image from this week's endorsement issue has caused people to call the campaign in the last 24 hours offering ....... to buy the candidate a shirt.

For the record, the image on our cover is a photo collage of Hughes' face on somebody else's body. And for the record, WW is endorsing Hughes, the former mayor of Hillsboro, in that Metro race and can report he was well-attired for our endorsement interview as were candidates Rex Burkholder and Bob Stacey.

The take from the Hughes campaign on all this? "We're not sure whether it's Tom's sex appeal, or the desire to get him clothed, but the campaign raised nearly five thousand dollars since the WW cover was published…guess it shows there's no such thing as bad exposure."
