Civic reminder #1: Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown is good enough to remind us this morning that Tuesday, April 27 is the voter registration deadline.
If you haven't registered to vote yet in the May 18 primary, you can do so by going to oregonvotes.org until 11:59 pm Tuesday. And if you want to go the "snail mail" route, you can mail in your voter registration cards and forms — and vote in the election if your mail is postmarked by April 27.
Civic reminder #2: Doors open tonight at 7 pm at the Aladdin for
Candidates Gone Wild with the show starting at 8 pm.
We'll have all seven candidates vying for the seat representing north and northeast Portland on the
Multnomah County Board of Commissioners; all three candidates in the
Metro president's race, as well as videos of the major gubernatorial candidates. This year's
Storm Large-hosted event (proudly presented by
WW, the
Bus Project and
Live Wire) will also feature great skits by Live Wire and
Curious Comedy plus music by
Alan Singley and Pants Machine.
