Cathy Mincberg Is Finalist For Top Post With Reynolds School District

The Reynolds School District just named Cathy Mincberg, formerly the chief operations officer at Portland Public Schools, as one of three finalists for its superintendent opening.

The other candidates for the top job in the east Multnomah County school district are Scott Rogers and Anthony Rosilez.

From the district's news release:
Selected Board members will conduct site visits to the finalists' home districts by April 16, 2010. Cathy Mincberg is a local candidate who is currently the Chief Academic Officer and VP of KC Distance Learning. Scott Rogers is currently the Superintendent of the Minidoka County Joint District in Rupert, Idaho. Anthony Rosilez is currently an Assistant Superintendent in the Harlem Consolidated School District in Loves Park, Illinois.

Following the site visits, the Board will host community forums to gather community input and conduct second interviews of the finalists. The search timeline indicates that the Board will make a final selection by April 22, 2010.
