After a Multnomah County grand jury last week
declined to indict Officer
Jason Walters for the
fatal shooting of
Jackie Collins in Hoyt Arboretum, Portland police today released their reports on the March 22 shooting.
The transcripts of detectives' interviews with Walters and other officers, as well as accompanying reports, run to 459 pages and are available for download
here (24 MB .pdf).
Walters is now on a previously scheduled vacation with his family, but he has officially been returned to duty at Central Precinct, say Sgt.
Scott Westerman, head of the police union.
