City Hall: Recall Campaign Against Adams Collects Another $19,500

Tim Boyle, CEO of Columbia Sportswear, gave another $10,000 to the campaign to recall Mayor Sam Adams, which has less than a month to collect more than 32,000 valid signatures. The new donation brings Boyle's overall donation to $17,500.

New donors to the campaign this month also include Peter Stott, founder and CEO of Crown Pacific Partners, one of the state's largest timber companies; David Brand, CEO of Coast Products; and Andrew Miller, head of Stimson Lumber Co. Stott gave $5,000. Brands gave $2,000, and Miller gave $2,500.

As of last week, the campaign had 10,000 signatures on hand — less than one-third of the number it must turn in by April 20.
