Lynn Peterson's Choice in Oregon's Democratic Gubernatorial Primary

When Clackamas County Chairwoman Lynn Peterson announced last year she wouldn't run in the 2010 Democratic primary for governor, she said, “It is clear the people of this state crave a contested governor's race.”

Today, Peterson announced her choice in that May 18 Democratic contest between ex-Gov. John Kitzhaber and former Secretary of State Bill Bradbury: It's Kitzhaber.
