A quickie check of Oregon's online campaign finance records shows a nice fresh haul today of $500 donors for Portland City Commissioner
Dan Saltzman in his run against eight challengers.
Among the newest $500 donors to the three-term incumbent: Plaid Pantries, Williams & Dame Development (as well as $500 apiece from name partners Homer Williams and
Thorndike "Dike" Dame), Local 48 Electricians PAC and
Teachers Voice in Politics.
Saltzman has imposed a $500 limit on his contributors. One of Saltzman's eight opponents, Jesse Cornett, has qualified for $150,000 in public financing. The rest? They're on their own to raise what they can for the May 18 primary.
