Look, Justin Ringle is trapped in a honeycomb! In the new video for their clip "Belly of June," the increasingly sprightly local hushed-folk band Horse Feathers share the stage with a number of book reading bumble bees. The clip expertly mixes live footage of the band with stop motion animation, which is smart: if they used real bees, somebody would get stung. Also, who do you think wins the game of chess between Ringle and cellist Catherine Odell? I got $5 on Odell as long as she doesn't knock over one of the tea lights. Horse Feathers are currently on tour, but the band's latest record, Thistled Spring, is out via Kill Rock Stars.
